Chopard’s newest Ice Cube Haute Joaillerie collection sparkles aplenty.
Introduced as a capsule collection in 2024, Chopard’s Ice Cube Haute Joaillerie collection has expanded today with new pieces in “daring proportions,” according to the brand. The new bijoux, designed by Chopard’s co-president and artistic director Caroline Scheufele, range from bracelets to a pin and necklace, all drawing their design aesthetic from the brand’s now-iconic Ice Cube collection, which was first introduced in 1999 in the form of watches.
“Ice Cube has always represented purity and precision,” Scheufele said. “But here, we pushed its language even further—into volume, movement and expression. I wanted the pieces to feel wearable yet unexpected, like modern art for the body.”
Art Deco Architecture
A ring and a pair of earrings in the new collection feature Asscher-cut diamonds, a nod to the Art Deco design era. Octagonal in shape, the Asscher cut was first developed in 1902 by Joseph Asscher and became very popular during the Art Deco movement. “The octagonal lines of the central diamonds, paired with the graphic construction of the surrounding cubes, reinforces and extends the clean, structured geometry that is a signature of the Ice Cube collection’s aesthetic,” according to the brand.

Cityscapes
The Ice Cube Haute Joaillerie collection is composed of cubes of varying sizes made of ethically sourced 18-karat rose or white gold set with or without diamonds. The cubes’ varying sizes give “a nod to a city skyline where towers of glass and steel shimmer under shifting light,” according to the brand. This effect is evidenced in the white gold and diamond bracelet pictured left.
Precious Time
The first Ice Cube collection was comprised entirely of watches encrusted with diamonds, some of which also featured colored precious stones. By the brand’s 150th anniversary in 2010, over 50 versions of the Ice Cube watch had been created along with “more than 300 jewellery interpretations … in all manner of motifs ranging from the simplest to the most exclusive. Ice Cube was a turning point in the history of Chopard design,” according to the brand.

Exacting Artistry
Each piece in the Ice Cube Haute Joaillerie collection is entirely handcrafted from sculpting and gemsetting to polishing. “The mirror-polished cubes refract the world around them, with an intensity that belies their apparent simplicity,” according to the brand. Chopard, now in its 165th year, has ensured that the Ice Cube collection is alive and well—and poised for the future.
